Previous day. –
Optional to meet the other participants in the group. However if your time doesn’t allow you, you can also show up right on Day 1, day of start of your tour.
It is a day for you to get to Lima in a relaxed way and be close to us. On this day, you will check in at the hostel/hotel provided by SAEX to spend the night. On this day, you will finalise payment and will get to know your Tour Leader that will explain the group about the tour and will give all the last recommendations needed.
Day 1.-
Route: Lima Centre (Peru).
Highlights: Sun Island
We will start after breakfast and have a long and beautiful tour of the Ciudad de los Virreyes, we will have a delicious Ceviche and finish around 4 in the afternoon.
Accommodation in Lima.

Day 2.-
Route: Lima-Cusco (Peru)
Highlights: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Centre of Cusco
We will fly to Cusco in the morning. Cusco, the Capital of the Inca Empire shows great Inca architecture mix with churches, monasteries and convents from the colonial times. A fascinating City tour will take you to all the best places for you to enjoy this amazing City after checking in at the hotel.

Day 3.-
Route: Machu Picchu – Cusco (Peru)
Highlights: Machu Picchu
It is the time for an early wake up to see the Mystical hidden City of the Incas: MACHU PICCHU, stunning combination of Inca site, great views and steaming jungle. After the visit, we will head back to Cusco. Great City where everything seems to have its own personality.

Day 04.–
Route:– CUSCO – JULIACA – SUN ISLAND/LAKE TITICACA (Peru – Bolivia)
Highlights: Lake Titicaca, Sun Island
In the morning, we will get on a plane to Juliaca, City 3 hours from Copacabana & Sun Island. After 2 hours we will get to the border and after an easy crossing we will go to Copacabana (10 min). We will continue to Sun island. Upon arrival we will visit the Inca Stairs, the Inca Fountain of the energy and the Agrycultural terraces. Then we will enjoy a beautiful Sunset from one of the view points.

Day 5.-
Route: TITICACA LAKE- LA PAZ- (Bolivia)
Highlights: Cathedral of the Virgen Morena, Reed Boat builders
We will get on a boat early in the morning to Copacabana, after a short walk and visit of the Cathedral of Copacabana, we will continue to La Paz, on the way we will stop in Huatajata where we will meet the World famous Reed Boat Builders, responsible for building ships that crossed the oceans of the World.

Day 6.-
Route: FLIGHT LA PAZ UYUNI – UYUNI SALT LAKE (Bolivia)

We will wake up very early in order to go to the airport. Once in Uyuni our 4×4 will be waiting for us to take us to the Salt Lake, we will spend almost all day on the Salt lake enjoying stunning landscape. It is optional to get a star gazing tour in the night. We will sleep in a Hotel completely built with salt bricks.

Day 7.-
Route: UYUNI SALT LAKE (BOLIVIA)

We will have all day long to enjoy the Salt Lake, taking funny pictures and having lunch on the mirror of the world. (January to April)
At night we will get on a Full cama Bus to La Paz. 9 hrs.

Day 8.–
Route: LA PAZ (Bolivia)
Highlights: City tour, teleféricos.
In the morning of this day, you will be taken on a beautiful and complete City tour. You will be able to experience the Teleféricos system as well.
You will have your last day in La Paz where your Tour Leader can show you all of what you have missed on before and give you the right advice to buy souvenirs or just visit another special place in La Paz.

WHAT TO BRING
This is a list that we have prepared based on experience, there are some things that may not be useful for you according to your dressing style or traveling style, read the list carefully and decide what you will bring.
Some items of the list may not be necessary for your trip or on the other hand, you may need something else. Ask our travel consultant to send you a detailed “packing list” specially for your trip.
- Day pack 35 lt.
Essential for keeping little things during the day. Your snacks, bottle of water, etc.
- Wide brim hat or cap.
You will have many hours under the sun. Hat or cap are good to avoid sunstroke
- Comfortable travelling clothes.
Light and easy to wash. 2 sets at least will cover your needs.
- 1 set of casual clothes for that night out.
There will be some chances to go out at night.
- Shorts
Very useful to be comfortable at the hotel.
- Sun glasses
You will have many hours in the sun.
- Warm sweater
Always have a warm sweater in hand, early in the morning and late in the afternoon can be chilly
- Fleece
Nights in the altitude are cold even in summer.
- Waterproof/windproof Jacket with hood
Summers can be rainy and in winter if it is windy, it gets cold.
- Hiking boots
You will need them for those programmes on which hiking is involved.
- Tennis shoes
You will need them to walk comfortable, for example during City Tours.
- Sandals – flip flops
Essential for when you get a shower or stay comfortable in the hotel.
- Head torch/head lamp & spare batteries
This is very useful if your tour involves staying in the countryside.
- Swimming stuff
Bring swimming suit if your programme includes immersing in hot springs or something like that.
- 5 pairs of Socks
While you use one or two, you can have the other pairs washed.
- Underwear
4 pieces will do for your trip.
- Camera with 1 spare battery
If you use camera with battery please bring a spare battery, as some batteries are hard to find.
- Mobile with power bank.
If you use your mobile for photos during your trips, make sure you bring a portable charger or power bank.
- Toiletries kit.
Make sure you bring your especial toiletries. Toiletries in South America can be totally different.
- Wet tissues.
Access to running water can be difficult, wet tissues are very useful for when you are in a car or away from the hotel.
- Small mirror.
Some toilets just do not have mirrors.
- Small towels.
Have a small towel in hand as toilets may not have hand dryers.
- Note book.
If you like to take notes, bring it from home.
- Water bottle.
You will need to drink at least 2 lt per day.
- Alarm clock.
If you use your mobile for alarm, please adjust it to the local time.
- Money belt.
Very important to have your money and documents safe while on the streets or travelling.
- Writing stuff.
You will always need a pen at some point.
- Passport Colour photocopies.
Leave your passport at the hotel unless your guide asks you to bring it.
- Mosquito repellent for Machu Picchu.
If your trip includes Machu Picchu or the Amazon please bring mosquito repellent, At least DEET 35%.
- Toilet paper.
During car trips or in the countryside have always one roll with you.
- Virucidal alcohol hand gel.
